Early Life and Career
William Bradley "Brad" Pitt was born on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, and raised in Springfield, Missouri. He began his acting career in the late 1980s with small roles in films such as Thelma & Louise and A River Runs Through It.
Pitt's breakthrough came in 1991 with his role in Thelma & Louise. He went on to star in a number of successful films throughout the 1990s, including Legends of the Fall (1994), Fight Club (1999), and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button (2008).
Awards and Recognition
Pitt has received numerous awards for his work, including two Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actor (for 12 Monkeys in 1996 and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood in 2020) and a Golden Globe Award for Best Actor in a Drama (for Fight Club in 1999).
